RZA's Birth Of A Prince album entered the charts at number #27 with over 40.000 copies sold in its first week. RZA said he isn’t disappointed with the first week sales since the album received almost no promotion whatsoever. No video, no singles, almost no print advertisement. He actually expected to sell much lower in the first week, but this number came to him as a pleasant surprise.
He’s expecting a small sale boost when his first video is going to drop. We Pop has been submitted to the music networks last week but MTV is still working on the edited version. This means they’ll be cutting profanity out of the original music video.
It’s not sure if Ghostface Killah will accompany RZA on his tour in October and November since it’s a strictly promotional tour. Some venues will swap Ghostface Killah with other artists such as Das EFX, please check your local venue for more information.
Meanwhile, RZA and Ghostface Killah both presented an award together at The Source Awards in Miami, Florida, just a few minutes ago. They received a lot of love from the audience.
