*Don’t hate the game, watch it on DVD. Rap stars Nelly, Master P., Fat Joe, Ghostface Killah, RZA, and others have helped put together an instructional DVD on the dos and don’ts of the recording industry called “Hip-Hop 101 The Game.”
The disc, the idea of a New York city teacher, a Launch Radio manager, and a Bad Boy Records A&R exec, features rappers, DJs, producers and rap moguls giving insight into the rap game.
"As we worked on the film, the consistent theme of initial ignorance about the complexity of the entertainment industry surfaced during each shoot. ‘Hip-Hop 101 The Game’ will address that need," said co-producer Yves Salomon. |
