[wimg=left]../images/news/mixtapesaturday.gif[/wimg]What’s this all about you might ask yourself. From now we have a new feature on Wu-Tang Corp named Mixtape Saturday. Basically, we will be reviewing mixtapes each Saturday that gave Wu-Tang some play. That’s not all though, we’ll have some of the new joints from these mixtapes available to download at the music page. What we ask from you is to send in your feedback for one of these joints to [email protected] and we will list the best reviews next Mixtape Saturday. Don’t forget to list your name and which song(s) you have reviewed, otherwise we can’t put them up! Anyway, let’s start.

[wimg=right]../images/news/jlovestraightbangerz7.gif[/wimg]J-Love has been really successful with his Straight Bangerz series and with the latest edition he continues to give Wu-Tang shine, a lot of shine actually. Fourteen of the thirty tracks are occupied by Wu-Tang artists. Not only that, but RZA also happens to host this really hot mixtape. The tape has an incredible line-up with new songs from artists such as Cormega, Jay-Z, G-Unit, Kool G Rap, Tragedy Khadafi, M.O.P., Mobb Deep, KRS-One and a lot more. If you want my personal opinion, and you do, then I suggest you buy this disc from J-Love’s own website for only $5.99. Just a small note, the KRS-One track called New York alone even makes this worth your money.

We have uploaded some of the Wu-Tang joints from Straight Bangerz Pt.7 to the music page and we would like you to review one of these songs:

RZA - U Used 2 Be (Produced by J-Love)
RZA - I’m Back (Produced by J-Love)
Raekwon - Marvin (Snippet)
Masta Killa - Throwback (Snippet)
RZA ft. Freemurder - Never (Produced by J-Love)

Also be sure to listen to the ‘song’ VH1/Roc-A-Fella Corrections, comments on this are also welcome at [email protected]

Next up is DJ Thoro with a lot of new songs and freestyles from Raekwon but also new hot shit from Nas, Ghostface Killah, Mobb Deep, AZ, Prodigy, G-Unit, Jay-Z and more. Raekwon got two freestyles on this one, one of them is over the Ten Hut beat (originally by Sheek ft. Jadakiss) and the other one over the It Ain’t Hard To Tell beat (originally by Nas). We also uploaded some songs from this mixtape on to the music page. To keep it strictly Raekwon, drop a review at the email address posted above for one of these songs:

Raekwon - Weed
Raekwon - Who Would Have Thought
Raekwon ft. Cappadonna & Method Man - Ice Cream Pt. 2
Raekwon - All Over Again
Raekwon - Pablow

Because this is the first Mixtape Saturday we have uploaded most of the mixtape joints that have been dropped this year to the [nburl=http://www.wutangcorp.com/clan/music/]music page[/nburl]. Check it out: there are 66 ‘new’ songs to listen to!
