Ol' Dirty Bastard
and Roc-A-Fella CEO Damon Dash will hold a press conference Thursday, May 1st in New York City in what is Dirt's first public appearance in three years.
Representatives for Roc-A-Fella declined to comment on the nature of the press conference, but called the event a "historic event."
Dirty's manager, Jared Weisfeld also declined comment, simply saying "Dirty is very, very happy."
Dirty is currently selecting material for his upcoming album and working on an upcoming clothing line, Dirt McGirt.
According to hiphopsite.com, Emile, a new producer from Buffalo, has provided beats for
Raekwon
's and
Ghostface
's upcoming albums.
