Method Man is working on a new album tentatively titled The Prequel, which is due in 2003. The set, which will be released on Def Jam Records, will be executive produced by Bad Boy Entertainment's vice-president of A&R Harve Pierre, and it will feature guest appearances from Ludacris, Ghostface Killah, and P. Diddy.

On the acting front, Method Man told that he and his partner Redman are currently reviewing scripts but haven't signed on to do any new movie projects. Method Man also made it clear that he was not interested in doing another How High movie. "Right now, Doc doing the music thing. I'm doing the music thing and a little outside projects, and we're just looking at scripts right now. That's it. Nothing written in concrete yet and ain't gonna be no How High 2, if I got anything to say about it."
